From time to time we come across someone who radiates such inner beauty that we can’t help but be caught in their presence. It could be a look, an action or a word. But no matter what it is it moves us deeply and helps us to become a better person because of their example.
We live in a very turbulent time and place and we often find ourselves at odds with others because of opinion, judgement and what we are fed by the media. The ‘other’ becomes something that we are afraid of and we reject. Social media feeds into this fear and we find that it becomes a place where negativity and bias are played out.
In order to reclaim that space and to also showcase all that is positive with the world Laura and I have come up with ‘Honour a Beautiful Soul’ (shortened to Beautiful Souls).
This space, for anyone who joins, is a place to highlight someone who they feel has made a difference in their lives and has done it from a place of kindness and love. It could be a person you know or someone you have simply come across that has provided unconditional love and support and has done so with a true heart. A Soul can be defined in many ways and means many things in different ‘spiritual’ and non spiritual traditions, but what ever the definition of soul means to YOU we all know what a kind SOUL looks like and how it has made us feel.
I know how it feels and I know that it makes me want to act differently and it may have the same effect on others also. So this group is a place to start to share that love and recognition and to perhaps start a deeper healing, heart to heart to heart.
Below is a little audio piece that I did to try and explain it in words (forgive the waffle) and if you want to see what it is all about please do go to the Facebook group or Instagram Page and share your own Beautiful soul story.
We’d love to see you there.

“Do not let your adorning be external—the braiding of hair and the putting on of gold jewellery, or the clothing you wear— but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God’s sight is very precious.” 1 Peter 3:3-4
